Begin by creating a bond with your parrot. Spend time interacting with them, offering treats, and simply talking to them. This builds trust and makes them more likely to engage with you.

Repetition is Key!

Parrots learn through repetition. Choose simple words or phrases to start with – things like "hello," "good bird," or their name. Repeat these phrases clearly and enthusiastically, multiple times a day. Associate the words with actions or objects. For example, when you give your parrot a treat, say "Good bird!" The more they hear a word in a positive context, the more likely they are to remember it.
